Maintenance Assistant: This team member helps with maintenance operations and also works with production. The work week is Sunday through Thursday, plus clean-up days on Fridays. Full-Time. Pay is commensurate with experience and aptitude $14+/hour.

Duties include:

  • Assist in servicing, repairing, adjusting, and testing machines, devices, moving parts, and equipment that operate primarily on the basis of mechanical principles.
  • Drain, clean, and refill machines or tanks at designated intervals, using cleaning solutions or water.
  • Assist and support the production team in every phase of preparing ingredients, producing hand pies, and sorting completed product.
  • Inspect product for quality and required specifications.
  • Providing information in regards to production equipment to supervisors, co-workers, and subordinates by in written form or in person.

Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record preferred.

Requirements:

  • High School or equivalent
  • 3-6 Months food production or prep in a professional/manufacturing environment
  • Able to lift 40 lbs.
  • Able to work in a hot production environment
  • Strong organization skills, work ethic, and reliability
  • Detail oriented and mechanically inclined
  • Able to work on a team and independently
  • Knowledge of the structure and content of the English language including the meaning and spelling of words, rules of composition, and grammar.

Production Team Member: Production workers operate machinery. Duties may include mixing ingredients, handling product, loading ingredients into machinery, organizing finished product, and cleaning machinery after production. Our production work week is Sunday through Thursday.

Pay is between $12 to $15 per hour, depending on experience and abilities.

The following qualities are desired, but not all are required:

  • Knowledge of principles and processes for providing customer services. This includes meeting quality standards for services, and evaluation of customer satisfaction.
  • Knowledge of the structure and content of the English language including the meaning and spelling of words, rules of composition, and grammar.
  • Knowledge of raw materials, production processes, quality control, costs, and other techniques for maximizing the effective manufacture and distribution of goods.
  • Basic math skills (arithmetic/algebra).
